The Fastest Way from Office to the Web!

Lotus FastSite is the fastest way to move files created in Microsoft Office and other popular desktop applications to the Web. In three easy steps, any user can migrate files from most popular file formats to an existing collaborative infrastructure, like an intranet or external Web site, without becoming a webmaster. And unlike "save as HTML", found in office suites and tools that simply focus on converting word processing files, FastSite enables non-experts to select multiple files from nearly any application and instantly make that data part of a collaborative Web or intranet environment. And FastSite can be used in conjunction with other Web development tools such as Microsoft FrontPage and Domino.

FastSite is the only multi-file, cross-product solution for organizations that that want to quickly and easily provide universal access to data trapped in proprietary file formats. FastSite is an important element of an organization's knowledge management strategy because it transforms information into knowledge by enabling users to share, learn and collaborate.

FastSite enables users to easily publish collections or groups of files that were originally created in any variety of desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Lotus SmartSuite or Corel WordPerfect. It automatically converts office suite files to a format for the Web (HTML, PDF) and then instantly builds a complete Web/intranet site, with a consistent look, hyperlinks and navigation buttons. With FastSite, users can publish documents or combinations of documents, regardless of file formats, to the designated site. There is no need to reenter, reformat, or recreate files for them to appear on the Web or intranet.
