Power Chords is the first sequencing program to implement a guitar fretboard for its main creative platform. For creating guitar tracks, learning about new tunings, or emulating stringed instruments up to 12 strings, 24 frets, any tuning, its the only choice!

But Power Chords is much more than a guitar program. There's tools for writing all types of music. Some of our customers have bought it just for the ease with which you can create drum and percussion parts in Power Chords. And its easy to use, with lots of interactive feedback - you can create complete arrangements using just the mouse if you wish.

Built-In Virtual Instruments

Power Chords comes with an on-screen keyboard as well as a configurable fretboard, making it easy to get the best of both worlds. Build up chords on either instrument and translate between them. Play melodies on the onscreen keyboard and record them. Use the built in chord computer with *any* guitar or bass tuning. It's amazing what you can do with just a mouse and Power Chords.

Audition and import chunks of music at a time from Power Chords including our available add-on libraries. Power Chords makes it easy to record and edit melodies, bass, chord and drum parts with its awesome piano-roll style Rhythm Editor. You get full graphic control.

Pattern Based Simplicity

Power Chords keeps music phrases intact and lets you treat them as individual objects. For example, audition 3 or 4 grooves from a Power Chords file, then import the perfect one. It’s now available as a music object. Add it to your song by dragging and dropping it. Want to hear it? Just right click on it. Change parameters? Double click on it and test patches on the fly. Swap it out and back, just like that.
