Nashot for Windows is an Anti-Virus Software which works on Windows 95/98/NT. Nashot can scan and cure all types of viruses including Partition, Boot, File and Systems Area viruses. It can take care of Macro Viruses and e-mail viruses like Happy99 and Melissa.

Another unique feature of Nashot is that it gives you verbal messages, making you feel as it its speaking to you. It can speak in 7 different Languages.

It is Further Divided into four modules.

NashScan

Nashscan is the scanning module. It doesn't write any thing on your hard disk, it just reports the infection. It scans all your drives for all types of viruses and reports them to you.

Nashot

Nashot is the curing module. This clean your system from Partition, Boot, File, System Area, Macro and E-mail Viruses. It can cure multiple viruses in one shot.

Nashsum

Nashsum is a file Itegrity checking module. It stores checksum of all program files and compares them the next time you boot your system. This module helps in catching new viruses.

NashMem

NashMem is an on-line virus scanning module which Scans for viruses as soon as a file is accessed. It scans for boot viruses in any diskette that you insert in the drive. It immediately alerts you if a virus is found and stops your machine from further infection.

Nashot For DOS

Sometimes some partition table viruses destroy critical system information and you can not boot windows. For such occassions we have included Nashot For DOS along with the package. Using this you can boot the machine with a floppy diskette and cure viruses.

It also contains a Decryption Program to help you recover data from an Encrypted hard disk which occurs if One-Half Virus has attacked your system. Curing the virus whithout decrypting results in data loss. NashRec is the file which does the decryption for you.
