WALL $TREET RAIDER for Windows 95/98/ME/2k/NT/XP, the corporate takeover and investment game, is a highly sophisticated and realistic simulation of a "real-time" stock market, with its constantly moving stock ticker and scrolling financial news headlines. Players must do their research and react quickly to an ever-changing economic model, where everything that happens affects everything else, trying to profit from or cope with soaring (or plunging) markets and fluctuating industry conditions. Invest in or seize control of any of 1590 corporations in 70 industry groups. Each company is "smart," trying to dominate its own industry and crush the competition -You!

1 to 4 players (including the computer) compete to build corporate empires and amass wealth, using all the tools of real-world corporate raiders:

  • hostile takeovers
  • greenmail
  • LBO's
  • mergers
  • junk bond financing
  • bank loans (and control of banks)
  • antitrust lawsuits
  • layoffs
  • monopolize an industry
  • restructure
  • asset-stripping
  • insider trading
  • excessive executive salaries
  • tax avoidance
  • and, of course, dirty tricks/manipulations!

Build your fortune by shrewd investing, or by grasping control of and running the world's largest corporations, from GE, Toyota and Microsoft on down! Flexible format allows players to use maximum financial creativity to finagle their way into the "caviar set." Invest conservatively, or "leverage up" and get rich fast--or wind up penniless, in a hurry.

As in the real financial jungle, players must often make difficult ethical choices -- either "do the right thing," or the sleazy (but often obscenely lucrative) thing. With harsh consequences, of course, if caught!

CAUTION: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! (The Surgeon General has NOT banned Wall Street Raider yet.... But probably should.)
