WALL $TREET RAIDER for Windows 95/98/ME/2k/NT/XP, the corporate takeover and investment game, is a highly sophisticated and realistic simulation of a "real-time" stock market, with its constantly moving stock ticker and scrolling financial news headlines. Players must do their research and react quickly to an ever-changing economic model, where everything that happens affects everything else, trying to profit from or cope with soaring (or plunging) markets and fluctuating industry conditions. Invest in or seize control of any of 1590 corporations in 70 industry groups. Each company is "smart," trying to dominate its own industry and crush the competition -You! 1 to 4 players (including the computer) compete to build corporate empires and amass wealth, using all the tools of real-world corporate raiders: hostile takeovers greenmail LBO's mergers junk bond financing bank loans (and control of banks) antitrust lawsuits layoffs monopolize an industry restructure asset-stripping insider trading excessive executive salaries tax avoidance and, of course, dirty tricks/manipulations! Build your fortune by shrewd investing, or by grasping control of and running the world's largest corporations, from GE, Toyota and Microsoft on down!
