What is VisualSoft JBChart?

VisualSoft JBChart 3.4 is an unrivalled; feature rich and customizable Java Bean, which presents charts and graphs with great looks in a quick and easy way.

Draw the chart you require - Pie, Bar, Line, Area, Column, Stock, XY-Scatter, Radar, Bubble, Doughnut, Cone, Cylinder, Dial, Triangular and Box charts.

Set a header for the X-Axis and Y-Axis. Select a name and color for a series of data, incorporate images in the background, show/hide footer, header, y-axis and legend.

VisualSoft JBChart can be used in applets and can also generate images (JPG, PNG, BMP and WBMP), to enable the chart in web applications and web pages. It gives web developers the power to add life to data quickly.

Customization Features

  • Fill types for all charts

Apply special effects to charts - Color, Gradient and Hatching and Images (GIF and JPEG). Hatching feature allows charts to be effective for a mono colored monitor or printer.

Set various background and foreground colors for charts. JBChart supports to set colors for the following chart elements: Titles, Labels, Grid, Chart.

  • Grid

Grid makes measurement against the axes easier when reading a chart data. It forms the background of the chart. JBChart supports 11 different grid styles for drawing horizontal and vertical grids.

  • Fonts

Set different font styles for the following elements in JBChart - Labels, Legends, Y-Axis, X-Axis, Header, Footer and Series Titles.

  • Images

Set images (JPEG, GIF) for creating interactive charts. It provides an option of setting background and foreground images for charts. JBChart supports images for the following chart elements - Chart, Legend, Y-Axis, Header, Footer and Series.

  • Scrolling and Zooming

Scrolling and zooming of chart area allows the chart designer to layer levels of detail within a single chart.

  • Rotation for X-Axis title

When the axis labels are lengthy, the overlapping of the axis labels can be avoided by rotating the axis labels through user set angles.

  • Intelligent Step Value

The axes in JBChart are well managed, being dependent on the font size and the range of values they accommodate. Users can override the default settings by selecting the automatic feature of the axes to false.

  • Automatic Series Color

By default, the series colors for JBChart is generated automatically, which is random and distinctive. Users can set a particular color for a selected series by double clicking the series-using mouse or by using properties.

  • Intelligent Label Font

The label font used for the display of values and text is totally dependent on the area occupancy of the chart. This default feature provided by the chart can be modified according to the demands of users by setting the auto label font property to False.

  • View/Hide Y-axis title, footer, legends
