VisualSoft Crypt provides a set of techniques for encoding data and messages such that the data and messages can be stored and transmitted securely over the non-secure networks like the Internet. When using crypt methods, the only part that must remain secret is the crypt keys. The algorithms, the key sizes, and file formats can be made public without compromising security.

VisualSoft CryptPlus is a Cryptographic Component for Secure Application Development in Active Server Pages and Desktop Environment for Windows 95, 98, 2000 and NT environments. It provides components for Key management, Privacy, Integrity, Certificate Management and Certificate Store operations. It addresses some of the basic problems such as tampering and impersonation. It has a set of well-established techniques and standards and is based on the Hybrid Key Cryptography (combination of symmetric keys and asymmetric keys, PKI, Digital Certificates).

Banks and their customers are happy to use these services as long as certain connectivity concerns are allayed. VisualSoft Mail ensures confidentiality, integrity and authentication and can connect to the following messaging systems:

You can send and receive massages in HTML format, signed and encrypted messages. It stores recipients Digital Certificates either in a file or a store. You can send bCC copies and attachment files of any format, such as Word documents, images, executable or plain text.

VisualSoft Mail enables POP3 users to retrieve mail using the POP3 protocol. Users can retrieve mails with attachments from any number of users within the Intranet/Internet using POP3. It also enables IMAP users to retrieve mail using the IMAP4 protocol.

HTTP is the protocol that led to the development of the Web. It is a generic, stateless, object-oriented protocol that grew out of a need for a universal protocol to simplify the way users access information on the Internet. HTTP is a client/server protocol located in the Application layer of the Internet protocol stack.

VisualSoft HTTP provides easy, high-level access to the complete HTTP client protocol. It includes a set of stable methods and properties that handle the underlying protocols, while allowing the user to access information on the WWW. As an HTTP component, VisualSoft HTTP is able to retrieve the document specified in the URL property, get the header information, send data to the server, and replace the page specified in the URL property with the specified data.

• Supports Redirection, this internal feature directly gets the file from the redirected server without disturbing the user.

VisualSoft XMLSecure provides powerful and easy-to-use features for signing and verification of XML documents. It conforms to the digital signature specifications of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). XMLSecure also conforms to the canonicalization specifications of XML-C14N. It supports encryption and decryption of XML documents both at Document and Element levels and fully addresses the Web security requirements of XML documents.

• Now supports both RSA and DSA algorithms for signing of XML document.

VisualSoft FSecure is a cryptographic component that helps encrypt/decrypt files and/or folders using symmetric key mechanism. It incorporates powerful Blowfish algorithm for the process of encryption and decryption. It is a robust and very fast medium that helps encrypt the files.

It encrypts selected files and/or folders and produces a self-decryption archive. The encrypted file can be decrypted simply by double clicking the archive with the given passphrase.
