Now you can accurately crop and align your pictures, even place type over pictures, while viewing high resolution image previews. You can create and edit clipping paths and runarounds with confidence.

You can soft-proof entire documents at any time and preview your designs with improved color accuracy. Gone are the days of printing proof after proof to see what you’re producing, or worse still paying for film and a laminated proof only to discover that you’ve missed that one pixel gap around one of your picture boxes!

EPXT lets you:

* Display all pictures using enhanced previews to soft-proof your entire document prior to output

* Enhance single, multiple, or all pictures in a document in one step

* Store all enhanced preview cache files in a user-specified folder and specify manual or automatic cache file deletion

* Improve the quality of screen captures and output of export XTensions (raster and HTML).

You can even apply sharpening and antialiasing filters to enhance display and output quality.

EPXT enhances the display of all standard pixel-based image file formats—black and white, grayscale, and color—supported by QuarkXPress and picture import XTensions.

Please note, EPXT does not support the enhancement of vector-based EPS files (or files that contain PostScript artwork) generated using Illustrator, Freehand, etc.

EPXT 2.2 (Mac) requires a Power Macintosh running OS 8.6 or later, QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 5.0, with a minimum 14 MB application RAM. Note: Allocating at least 3 MB additional application RAM will improve display of enhanced previews at high zoom magnifications. QuickTime 4.x (or later) Full or Pro recommended.

EPXT 2.2.5 (Windows) requires a 486 or faster computer, with a minimum of 24 MB RAM, running Windows 95 (or later), and QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 5.0. QuickTime 4.x (or later) Full or Pro recommended.
