Why not print your own EAN and Bookland bar codes? This TrueType font set lets you add barcoding ability to virtually any existing Windows program. It's easy to use and fast to set up. Or export your bar codes to bmp, gif, or jpg formats.

Virtually every retail product sold in Eurpoe requires an EAN (European Article Numbering) bar code. And books the world over require a Bookland bar code. Our software lets you include EAN or Bookland bar codes in your product packaging, or when printing your own UPC labels.

The European Article Numbering system, EAN, was introduced in 1978. There are two different versions of EAN bar codes, EAN 8 and EAN 13, which can encode 8 and 13 digit numbers. A special EAN 13 bar code with a 5 digit supplemental code is used to convert ISBN numbers and pricing information to a bar code for books, called Bookland.

These scalable TrueType and PostScript bar code fonts comes in five different aspect ratios, so you can vary the height and width of the bars independent of each other. This lets you print bar codes with the same height, but different horizontal print densities.

EAN bar codes encode fixed length numeric data. A checksum is required, and checksum calculation is complex. Our bar code set includes BAREAN.EXE a utility, which calculates checksums and automatically formats these bar codes for you. Want to print bar codes in Access, Excel, or Word? We include VBA macro functions that do all the work for you.

The online manual comes in Rich text format- compatible with any word processor. Just print a copy of the manual to see how to use these TrueType fonts to print bar codes.
