Print your own bar code 93 from within any Windows program! This TrueType and PostScript font set lets you add barcoding ability to virtually any existing Windows program. It's fairly easy to use and fast to set up.

Bar code 93 requires a checksum, and lets you encode numbers (0-9), upper case letters (A-Z), and some special characters (space, $%+-./). A full ASCII mode is also available that covers the entire ASCII character set. You begin each bar code with a special start code, and end each bar code with your checksums and the stop character.

Bar code 93 was introduced in 1982. It is a high density replacement for bar code 3 of 9. Code 93 can be intermixed with bar code 3 of 9, provided you have an autodiscrimating reader. It offers virtually the same character set as bar code 3 of 9, but requires a checksum. Code 93 also offers a Full ASCII mode that works much better than bar code 3 of 9's, since this mode is not dependent on your bar code reader.

This bar code set includes both a standard, (just bar codes), and a human readable version, (bar codes with text or number below them), of bar code 93. Each of these scalable TrueType bar code fonts comes in six different aspect ratios, so you can vary the height and width of the bars independent of each other. This lets you print bar codes with the same height, but different horizontal print densities.

Want to print bar codes in Access, Excel, or Word? We include VBA macro functions that do all the work for you. If you don't understand bar codes, just run our stand alone utility program to build barcodes for you.
