The Internet E-mail Gateway from Pathfinders Software is a real time Internet mail relaying system. It may run on all Multi Value platforms including Pick Systems, UniVerse, Unidata, General Automation, Sequoia, & ADDS Mentor. This particular program runs on Pick Systems only.

It runs as two programs in client/server style. The client runs on its own "Pick" serial port. This port is then connected to a Com port on a Windows 95 or NT machine. On the Windows machine runs our Serial Gateway program (included) in the distribution.

E-mail transfers in real time across the Internet or your LAN or WAN.

  • Supports All Mail Servers

    Internet connectivity is achieved by a Windows 95 or NT machine. Since Windows support TCP/IP protocols, you may use the built in Dial-Up Networking or your Ethernet LAN. The E-mail Gateway supports all mail servers including Netscape, Microsoft Exchange & Seattle Lab. Novell LAN mail is supported only if POP3 access is available.

    Our system provides you with TCL commands as the standard interface. Change the TCL commands to our Unix version and migrate your Internet application successfully to a Unix network instead of Windows.
